Hey guys! I ran into a few of Live 9’s limitations on my last film project, so I’ve been exploring Cubase to see if it’s worth making the jump at this time. I’m sure I will have a ton of questions to search out here. To start, I couldn’t find anything specific regarding group insert effects.
In Live, I can quickly group a chain of effects or even multiple groups of chained effects, and then control the levels for each group all within the track lane while avoiding sends. I like this because I can quickly fine tune and blend effects without losing level control by having to throw it into a general fx bus downstream.
It seems fairly cumbersome to have to create buses for each track in VST Connections. Is there a better way to do this?
