Hi all, I’ve 2 percussion parts written for 2 players.
The first group is able to be consolidated into - “Percussion 1” - with mallets, sus cym etc.
The second group is “Percussion 2” - with snare drum etc.
Percussion 1 is able to be consolidated, and shows as “Percussion 1” in the full score, but Percussion 2 part does not show the “Percussion 2” header, instead shows the individual instruments. I tried combining the kit but it didnt work. Would appreciate your advise! Thanks!
Go to Layout Options / Staves and Systems / Staff Labels then select Show player name instead of instrument name for that player.
Thanks for your reply! Am I doing something wrong here? These are what are selected. It works for the “percussion 1” group, but i’m not sure why it doesn’t work for “percussion 2”?
Your image and my image are not the same. There’s another column for Show player name instead of instrument names that’s not visible in your screenshot. Drag the right side of the window to expand it so you can see that column.
