I bought Halion Sonic but now see I can upgrade to Halion 4 as an 802 mb download.
Does that constitute all of the samples and instruments that the boxed version provides?
What I mean is if I keep the content of my Halion Sonic installed and add what the download has do I then have everything that the box has?
Yes, Halion 4 contains all the content from Halion Sonic and then some additional content. By downloading the update, you only install the additional content Halion 4 has to offer since the rest is already present on your hard drive from the Halion Sonic install. You can then freely use both on your system as you see fit. You will have all the same content as the boxed version.
