Hairpin position, how to change?

Hello dear friends,
Using Dorico I found the following situation:
When inserting a hairpin, I can change its size using the keyboard shortcut (Option+Shift+Arrow), and also its position within the bar (Option+Arrow).

The Hairpin always starts at the beginning of the beat. What should I do to start between these two half notes (in the middle of the measure, for example). Is this possible or will a fix be implemented in the near future?

You just need to place in the input caret wherever you want the hairpin to start. Use Shift+D, type >, and Enter. It initially looks like nothing happens, but the hairpin will be created and will advance by your grid value every time you press the spacebar. Here’s a gif:
