Half/double time marking

I seem to remember that there was a thread about it but I can’t find it anymore when searching, so here I ask again:

I’d like to add a “half note equals quarter note” indicator on a meter change (using the note symbols/characters, of course), and I seem to remember that this wasn’t possible in Dorico 1; and it doesn’t seem to be possible now either as doing “h = q” in the tempo popover will just print that text, or am I doing something wrong?

Dorico still doesn’t support these kinds of “tempo equation” or “metric modulation” items natively, so using Shift+Alt+X system text is the way to go for now.
