HALion 3 standalone dongle free?

I was wondering, with Cubase finally moving to a dongle-free world, whether HALion will get an update to allow using the vst instrument without having to use the dongle too, especially for settings like live performance where having a dedicated usb port just to lunch one of many instruments is excessive.

Steinberg has said that as new versions of Products roll out they will use the new License system. Older versions will continue to use the eLicenser - just like with Cubase.
