Curious to know. I have Halion 3.x registered from like 2005 on the old elicensor. I actually don’t remember even buying it at this point.
Does anybody know if this version (Halion 3.x) qualifies me for the update. And if so, do I need to find a copy of it and intall it or will the download assistant figure that out. Right now I can’t find Halion 3.x in the Download assistant it is just registered in my account.
Yes, just go to the Steinberg website, select Halion, click the Buy Button and make sure to chose Update. There you find the price for your update and can buy it.
No, you need to make sure the license is registered in your Steinberg profile and the eLicenser is connected for the update.

I spent some time after posting this to find my old elicensor. I then found an old copy of an installer on my HD. After being able to access the elicensor I was able to find Halion 3.x. It turns out that way back when I had downloaded a 30 day trial which I never opened. So I don’t qualify unfortunately.
But, I’ve applied for a crossgrade discount from my old Komplete purchase and hopefully that will get approved.
