I’m very positively surprised by the Halion 4 update. The functionality, sound quality and handling is great. That is a very big step up from Halion 3. The use of WaveLab 7 (which I also have) as an external sample editor is limited, because it doesn’t work with multi-channel surround files. As an external editor I use TwistedWave instead.
Please make the dark background color user changeable. I would prefer something more easy on the eyes, it’s a bit too dark.
Now my questions: is there a simple crop function in the sample editor implemented? I can’t find it … am I blind?
And … how can I mark a multi as the startup preset? I cannot get rid of the factory synthi patch as the startup multi.
