if i merge midi in loop i get a new midi pattern with no midi data in it.

yes i did so. it is on page 368 in the english operation manual for cubase 6. but it is still not working.

i contacted the german telephon support and they told me, it is not possible to record midi from flexphrases into cubase. so you know too.

Of course it’s possible, the method is just different.
