Is there any news on any Halion 5 updates coming ?

I think not that there will be updates in the near future. You can follow it on the main website of steinberg.
If you are registered, you will also receive mails when this happens.
The fact that there were no updates for Halion 5 is actually a good thing. This means that everything is working as it should do. 
Probably a new verion (Halion 6) will be released in the future, but i guess that this will be a paid ugrade (not update) with extra functions.

Yes it does work very well indeed but there are some already mentioned things that need to be addressed
