HALion 6 to 7 upgrade issue

Tried to search, didn’t find an answer. I have a Cubase 12 project made with HALion 6. I opened project after updating to HALion 7 and HALion will not open. It is still showing HALion 6 in the VSTi pane.

Is there something I can do (reinstall, etc) to get HALion to open properly in my old projects? Or do I need to go back to HALion 6?

HALion 7 should replace HALion 6.

Uninstall HALion 7, uninstall HALion 6 if it is showing as still installed on your computer, and then reinstall HALion 7. Do not delete any content - that should not need to be touched.
