we just released a Hotfix for HALion 7 to resolve an issue some user experienced after the HALion 7.1.50 update installation. You can find the update now in Steinberg Download Assistant.

This one does not address the window resizing bug with certain scale settings, does it?
At least on my computer it doesn’t.

Is this hotfix recommended for installation, even if Halion 7.1.50 has already been installed without issue ? IOW, does it bring additional and more or less hidden improvements ?
hi , after the update by steinberg download , my halion dosnt work good, everytime that i try to open it i get this error : “Media Client Failed”
i have reinstalled , but the error still coming. what i have to do?

Hello, I’m not sure whether this is down to Cubase 15 or Halion 7 (both up to date, plus Windows 11 up to date):
- With Halion 7 installed: Cubase takes 1 minute and 35 seconds to start up; I’ve noticed it takes a while to load the MediaBay, amongst other things.
- After uninstalling Halion 7: Cubase takes 5 seconds to start up.

hello ! i have a “program change” problem with the 7.1.51 version :
- Halion work properly in “stand alone” mode ( PChange work fine )
- Halion DONT work in Live ( 11 ): Instance load fine but it is impossible to use "program change " properly !!! please help me
----- try to resolve it in an empty live set … same problem : in Halion program refuse to change !!! ( only the 001 and 128 can be called )

Do you have enabled PrgChg in the Options of Halion when using it in Live?
