I’ve only yesterday become aware of the Halion 7 deal that ends on Wednesday. I’m a Cubase Pro 13 user, and that only ships with Halion Sonic. I’d like to take advantage of the crossgrade pricing but it’s unclear from the product page what the operating specs are. I’m running macOS 11, which is the max my computer can run. I will upgrade my machine probably sooner than later but in the meantime, will Halion 7 run on my machine (Sonic does?). If I purchase Halion 7, will I be able to install Halion 6 instead (if there are compatibility problems)? I know that when purchasing the Cubase 13 license, Cubase 11 and 12 became available too,

According to the Download page it supports MacOS 11.

to take advantage of the crossgrade you need at least the “HALion Sonic Collection”!!! Please note that the HALion Sonic version that comes with Cubase 12 or 13 comes without the “Collection” Content and does NOT qualify for a crossgrade.
If you’re still interested you have to buy the full version of HALion 7.

I’m looking at the competitive crossgrade as a Kontakt / Komplete ultimate owner. I presume the instruments in the HALion Sonic Collection will be included with the full version of HALion 7?
Yes, the content of HALion Sonic Collection is also part of HALion 7.

What do I need to send as proof of owning one of the qualifying products? Surely not my serial numbers?

i’ve sent through a screenshot of my desktop showing my NI receipt with name and address, with Kontakt 7 open showing the registration & serial. I think that should do?
