Dom put out a video 2 ish weeks ago,showing a new feature EXTREME and Halion 7… When I try to use Halion it says I DONT HAVE THE LICENSE…WHY? I bought and paid for Cubase PRO 13 and downloaded Halion 7… WHY CANT I USE IT?

HALion 7 is not included in the Cubase license, that is HALion Sonic 7.
Additionally, X-Stream doesn’t require HALion 7. The free edition HALion Sonic 7 is sufficient.

Just for clarity:
Halion Sonic SE is now called Halion Sonic. This is the included version with Cubase. There is no longer anything named SE.
Halion Sonic is now called Halion. This the the full version that you buy.
So there is only Halion Sonic (included in Cubase) and Halion (you have to purchase).
If I have misunderstood this, please correct me.
Just a small correction: The predecessor of HALion 7 was HALion 6, so that name hasn’t changed. The former non-free HALion Sonic 3 is discontinued. Instead, there’s now the HALion Sonic Collection. The former free HALion Sonic SE is now called HALion Sonic. These naming games are quite confusing.
Thanks Martin…yes, quite confusing. We can attribute it to growing pains. Everything ends up better for all of us.
