Just a quick query, I downloaded the Halion 7 trial and it appears to run perfectly but at no point was I asked for a trial key or suchlike. I know it uses the Steinberg ID licensing model, but what is happening here? Does it just stop working with no warning after 30 days from first install?
Have you opened the Steinberg Activation Manager on your machine?
Good point! It’s so long since I activated anything I entirely forgot that program existed. All good.
It’s a tribute to Steinberg that this is too easy.
