I have just purchased and installed Cubase Elements 14. I can’t get Halion sonic 7 to work. How did you get your’s working? Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks, Kate.
Just went through this. Downloading the Media Bay and manually reinstalling it did the trick.
Same issue here. I had Halion Sonic 3 Full Version. After formatting I went automatically to Cubase 14. Halion 7 seems to be downloaded. 3500 sounds almost but I can not hear them. A red key in the left side of every sound is appeared. All sounds are locked.
I can not work.

It was all ok then I used the Library Manager to move the content to another drive. It moved ok and I can see third party VSTSound files in Halion Media Bay, but NO Steinberg sounds/presets.
I’m on Windows 11.
I’ve done everything already mentioned. Uninstalled everything Steinberg, reinstalled via the Download Assistant, manually installed the Media Bay and Library Manager.
The reinstall made the content folder back to default on the C: drive.
I can’t even see the files in the Libarary Manager now!!
Halion 7 is not included with Cubase 14. Halion 7 SE yes but I don’t think this includes 3500 sounds. Hence the red locked symbol.
