HALion Sonic does not appear in Dorico (Windows on ARM)

Hi, I wonder if it’s a known issue and I can’t seem to get HALion Sonic appear in the VST lists in Dorico. As in the screenshot I can run HALion Sonic as a standalone app but Dorico is unable to locate it as a VST. I created the file on my home desktop (windows x64), but here on my Surface pro it doesn’t seem to load.

I am aware Dorico does not officially support windows on ARM so I just wonder if this issue is something that I can troubleshoot on my end, or is it unsolveable for now. My other VSTs work just fine and I have been using NotePerformer as well as a bunch of Steinberg effects on my mixer so I assume the VST function is working OK.

Any ideas, solutions, or things to try are appreciated. And I desperately wish windows on ARM can be officially supported soon as Surface pro works so well with Dorico on the go.

Most likely it is like this:

Dorico is not yet native WoA, but can run in emulation mode.

HALion Sonic is already native WoA, but a Dorico running in emulation mode can not use that native HALion.

The thing is, you need to uninstall the native HALion Sonic and instead install the non-native version of it. Under that circumstance HALion Sonic will also appear in the non-native Dorico.

That makes sense. Thank you!
