Hi I need help with Halion sonic 7, I’ve just installed it and I’m new to this plugin. The issue is it doesn’t have content. how do I get this showing:
First things first, did you install the content?

It seems not, could you please point me out on where/how can I get it so I can install it.

But now I get “No lince found“ error when trying to load it. Do I need to buy the licence to use these(content)…I read its completely free:
Ok, to hopefully clarify this a bit.
There’s basically three editions of HALion:
- The full version, which comes with a big library and also allows you to create and edit your own sounds.
This costs money. - HALion Sonic Collection - the same library, but you cannot create and edit your own sound. So basically a HALion “Player” plus library.
This also costs money, but less than the full version. - HALion Sonic - just the “Player”, without any sounds

Now I have - probably wrongly so - assumed that you have Cubase. Which would come with its own library called "HALion Sonic Selection (which I think is a subset of the Collection). However you only get this together with Cubase.
If you have not bought anything and just dowloaded HALion Sonic (i.e. the free player), I think you don’t get any sounds with it (someone correct me if I’m wrong)
