What in the heck is the deal with HALion Sonic Play iOS not having midi cc control abilities? There’s no way to route expression to volume per preset, or even globally. Not even sustain pedal control! Wow.
Why is this? This is quite an oversight as good luck in trying to make this run usably in things like Camelot Pro.
Thoughts?
Use the iOS app “Volume Pedal” auv3 app. Load it as a post processor. It will midi learn your pedal and you can set curves and max/minimum settings. Yea, it’s $9.99 but it solves all issues with auv3 apps that don’t respond to volume or expression CCs. I use it with HALion, Audio Layer and many more
