Hi there,

I’m a Cubase Pro 10.5 + HALion 5 user (both will be upgraded to current versions soon).

  • In this scenario, is there an interest in installing HALion Sonic SE 2/3?
  • Does HSSE 3 offers exclusive content that isn’t installed with HALion 6?
  • Does HSSE 2 offers exclusive content that isn’t installed with HALion 5?

HSSE 3 is just a player. It doesn’t come with any content on its own. The content you get comes with Cubase, Dorico, Nuendo. But I would install it anyway. The application is not that big and Cubase relies on it to load the factory content.
