So as I move away from Cubase to another DAW, the only things I’ll slightly miss are a couple of libraries for Halion that I can use with the free version in my new host and Padshop 2 (or Pro or whatever it’s called now).
I have resigned myself to Padshop using the new ‘phone home every thirty days’ system, so I will just retire that, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether the free Halion Sonic will go the same route? Seems overkill for a free player, I use it like Kontakt Player - no editing, just playback of pre-made libraries.
