Dear VST-Live-Team,
I am using VST live at my home studio one a windows 11 notebook together with 2 additional screens (3 screens in total).
When I open in VST live a sub-menu of Halion then it is splitted to 2 screens and stratched. Before I can start working now in Halion I need to re-locate the new Halion Window to one screen (preferred the notebook-Monitor).
The Positioning of the new Halion-Screen is not optimal:
Example 1: The VST-Live-Main-Screen is initially on the notebook-screen. The additional / new Halion-window is placed by VST on the 2nd screen but partially outside of the window (the title of the window). Therefor I need to re-locate the windows via shortkey Windows + Arrow-key.
Start Frame condition:
Result: Halion-Sub-Windows is placed partially outside of the window. The available screen is not used efficiently.
Example 2:
The VST-Live-Main-Screen is initially on the big-screen behind the notebook.
The additional / new Halion-window is placed by VST on 3 screen. This is not useful and therefor I need to re-locate the windows via shortkey Windows + Arrow-key.
Start Frame-Condition:
Result: The new Halion-Sub-Windows is partially placed over 3 screens.
As a general impression I have the feeling that the current software code at VSTL could be improved so that the available screen is used and to show the windows on 1 screen / instead on 3 screens (partially).
Question / Request: Would it be possible to change this application behaviour so that the sub-windows of halion is only shown on the main screen of the notebook (instead a split / stretch over 2 screens)?
This is a small topic but it would help to allow to work in VST live more smoothly in a simplified workflow mode.
Below please find the screensettings on my windows 11 notebook:
I guess there are different user working in their studio with multiple screens therefor it might be also relevant for other users.
Thanks in advance for your feedback / support.
Kind regards
Sam
