yesterday I bought Absolute 6 full version and Cubase 13 Pro and everything is installed with all components by Download Manager and activated (under Windows 11).
But in Dorico Pro 5 I still only see Halion Sonic and others like e.g. Noteperfomer 4, Ionica Sketch and Olympus elements as playback templates.
All libraries are on the same SSD, so I thought Dorico Pro 5 should recognize the new full version and offer it as a playback template. And Halion 7 it does not appear under program/edit/preferences/play/playback template.
What do I have to do to be able to use the full version of Halion 7 or Absolute 6 full version as playback template within Dorico Pro 5?
Thank you very much for your answer, Janus. I tried that, but I don’t know how to find the full version of Halion7 when trying to create an own template there, because Halion 7 doesn’t appear under “add manual” or “add automatic”. Am I probably looking in the wrong place (Play/Playback Template/Add Playback Template/+/Add manual/Add automatic")?
You need to treat Halion 7 just like any other 3rd party VST.
Before you can create a Playback Template, you need to set up a project using Halion 7, with all the correct Expression Maps applied to your instruments and use that to create an Endpoint.
Ah, OK. Great, I was successful now, but will watch some tutorials soon again. Thank you so much and have a nice day! I have another question about Dorico with Noteperformer later. But that is a different topic
