I tried reinstalling both the Halion app and the content bank but no luck, the Dead Sea preset has changed and is not producing the same sounds as ~1 year ago. Are there any reasons this would happen that can be corrected by actions I can take? I backed up up my project a year ago and am confident what I’m using now is identical but that preset doesn’t sound the same. Any chance I can get it back?
The only thing in my mind that could be responsible for this difference are normal Steinberg software updates, mostly Cubase since it has had 2 major updates (13 → 14 → 15). Halion is still at version 7 but has likely had some minor updates. It seems like the preset sound itself should have survived these updates intact especially since it is all Steinberg ecosystem products. Are these realistic expectations?
