Handsome Keyboard Integration

So I was minding my own business, poking around, learning how these cubase things work.

I pushed some buttons, looked down and … WWWWWWHAT :hushed_face:

Am I dreaming?

All the knobs and buttons are linked up correctly, they work perfectly, everything has actual common sense, it’s all set up and done, and I didn’t even have to do this myself? Frikkin WHAT? :grinning_face: :grinning_face: :grinning_face:

I don’t know who did this but someone integrated my pretty keyboard.
Thank youuu steinberg! :raising_hands:

thank you thank youuuu :growing_heart::grinning_face::raising_hands:
I owe you a song for this.

Hi,

These are Quick Controls. :wink:

That’s actually a MIDI Remote API script that Native Instruments made for the Komplete Kontrol S series MK3 keyboards.

It gets installed automatically for those MK3 keyboards with the latest firmware installed.

It’s one of the more sophisticated implementations of the CubaseMIDI Remote I’ve seen.

So half of the virtual hug should go to Native Instruments.

p.s. I also think, some of the regular people working there could use some hugs these days. – There’s a Native Instruments forum that’s very well attended by NI employees, where you could also post.

yes, and no :slight_smile:

It’s actually the first page of the full automation parameters of the plugin. By pressing the “next page” button on the keyboard, the next set of 8 parameters become selected, etc. etc.

And “some buttons” is actualy the button “PLUG-IN” on the Kontrol MK3. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

That it works for all Cubase stock instruments and effects is a quite new feature and works in some other DAWs as well.
