Thank you for the update! I checked the proposed solution from NI and it does prevent the hang/freeze/crash 
It took me a few trial and errors until I noticed that I had to change change the parameters for both notes involved in the multi-note tremolo using the panel next to “Sent by Midi” but once I notice the issue went away.
The only issue with this fix is that the sound is a tremolo of the bottom note for half the first half of bar followed by a tremolo of the top note for the remaining half, but I guess it’s better than nothing. In any case thank you again!
