I always did this in my opinion harder way then it was suppose to be. I am sure. It never looked good enough too. I would like to know how do you or would do this so it would look like the picture.

There’s not really a good way to reproduce this kind of freehand line in Dorico at the present time. Would perhaps using two straight glissando lines with a stemless notehead indicating the upper pitch be a decent compromise?
