As I understand it a harp can both lower and raise all strings by a semitone. So, b can be b flat and b sharp. I have an issue with Dorico not calculation the right pedaling for an E-lydian scale. It just won´t come up with the right solution - for instance it shows b flat where I write a sharp, or won´t calculate the pedaling, at all. I´m on Dorico 6. Thanks for the help, as always!!!
Thank you @benwiggy , how can I limit the pedal change to a certain section? Or will this be for the whole piece?
Fab, that worked just fine!!! Thank you!!!
One can reset pedaling at any point based on a selection of the notes ahead. Set the caret at a location and choose Write > Calculate Harp Pedals and Dorico will choose the best possible pedal settings for subsequent notes, highlighting in red those notes that would require a pedal change.
