Hi folks, please forgive my ignorance as I am still learning the application.
How can I achieve the following notation (the notation marked in blue in the image below)? (indicating to mute harp strings on a specific beat)
I would write them in a separate voice, then:
- reduce them to cue size
- switch to Engrave Mode and turn on the Hide Stem property
- switch back to Write Mode, select the top and bottom notehead using Cmd/Ctrl, then create a vertical solid line set up to connect the noteheads.
Let us know if you need help with specific steps. Especially step 3 may misfire, and you may need to go into Engrave Mode to position the note precisely.
