You have an external keyboard containing factory pre-sets. You’ve got Cubase (8.5 here) to recognise the keyboard as an external midi device through your midi interface. The keyboard shows up as a VST Instrument. You open the Midi Device Manager, select your keyboard and then go to ‘Patch Banks’. So far fine. But, at this stage my keyboard (Korg Oasys) does not appear where I understand it should when I click on ‘Patch Banks’. Only “New Bank” shows with a drop-down “Off”. It is here where I was expecting to see all the factory pre-sets listed out (mind you there are a lot of them!). Somewhere down the line I’ve probably skipped a procedure.
Can anyone suggest where I was have gone wrong or what I may have missed out?
