Has the Logical Editor changed?

I just read on Vi Control that a guy’s macros no longer worked after updating to Cubase 12. What has changed that would cause this? And should I be concerned about updating?

Yes, Logical Editor changed in Cubase 12. But all old presets are working the very same way. New features have been added.

I would very much like to try out Cubase 12. I recently downloaded the demo but didn’t get around to activating it. And then the demo expired. Could you please arrange for me to get another demo?
