having some problems with 10.5.20...

several times now, since i upgraded to 10.5 last night, i’ve had to restart cubase, cause i’m having some weird problem, where ezdrummer won’t make a sound, when playing a song.
if i click on individual drums, there is sound, but crackled and kind of distorted…
cpu usage is low…
only track in the project so far, is that ezdrummer track…
many times, restarting cubase doesn’t solve this problem…
i’m on windows 10 and since i’m currently trying to record guitars, i’m using my line 6 hx stomp, as an audio interface.
i’ve found a way around this problem now, by switching asio drivers back and forth…
this issue still needs fixing though.

another problem i’m currently having, that i still haven’t solved:
the cubase metronome doesn’t sync with ezdrummer…
they’re both set to the same tempo, same time signature…
ezdrummer is set to follow host…
i was thinking that the metronome count in, set to 1 in cubase, was messing things up, but i don’t know…
unfortunately it can’t be set to 0…
i’m getting the feeling that it’s something else though…
the sync problem appears to get worse after a while, playing the song…
any ideas?

edit!
i think i just found a workaround for this problem as well…
metronome setup —> click sounds —> midi output port was set to “microsoft gs wavetable synth”…
i was aware of this and i still don’t understand what the problem is, but if i change this to “ezdrummer midi in”, the sync is correct…
i’m getting hihats instead of blip blops, but it’ll have to do, i guess…

Hi,

Try to increase your Audio Device Buffer Size, please.
