For whatever reason - Halion won’t start with Dorico.
1st time this is happening to me and I’m not sure how to solve this.

Without more than you have given us, it’s hard to give you any advice.
You could also search for other threads to see if any reflect your specific conditions.

And what do you mean exactly with “HALion won’t start with Dorico”?
Do you start HALion with the standalone player and in parallel Dorico?
What is happening, is Dorico or HALion standalone crashing then?
Please explain in more detail what you are facing. Thanks

It is working ok now, I should have erased that post but got into it…
Usually when I starts Dorico I am used to be getting the Halion window with it.
I have restarted the computer and re connected the usb cable directly (not via usb hub) and now its working just fine, also - I do get the Halion window now but only when I open another instance - with the backup project (for sake of comparison and proofing) while if I remember correctly that window started always together with Dorico - I was surprised to here a sound never the less.
I also had problems with the midi driver this session although I am not sure why…
But its ok now once I once have started the computer…maybe its time to upgrade…

Sorry I should have erased the topic - after restarting the computer the problem was solved.
