This is new territory for me. I need to score to a video. The downbeat is 0.43 seconds into the video, and the BPM is 77.
I’ve been fooling around with the video properties in Setup mode, but I can’t seem to align it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Never mind, I think I got it! I set the beat count to 4, and the offset to 13 frames (0.43 seconds, 29.97 fps). The video now syncs to bar 2.
Just took a bit of trial and error. I’ll leave it here in case it’s useful to someone else. Maybe I’m the only one who thought this was hard initially…
You can also activate/add a tempo track, then use the TimeWarp tool to align any downbeat to the desired position with the mouse. This will create a tempo-change event, and the tempo automation segment immediately before this event will adjust accordingly (in bpm), but the tempo after the event will remain unchanged. Make sure your non-musical audio tracks are in Time Mode so they remain in sync with the video.
Edit: This is for Cubase at least, I missed the software you were on.
