HELP! Cannot record into Cubase 14

I am hoping to find some help here… I have written to Support but not yet received an answer, so here goes:

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro M4 Pro and made a clean install of everything… Cubase 14 Pro etc. At the same time I upgraded my Steinberg UR22C to a SSL2+MKll. Everything works fine, except recording. I have made all the right settings… full disc access, microphone access (privacy settings), audio connections, buffer size… You name it. Just doesn’t work. I get chopped up, stuttering sound while recording through monitoring, and the final result is the same… very low volume, chopped up stuttering sound.

Mind You… recording into Audacity, Garageband and Guitar Rig 7 works just fine, which rules out computer- or interface problems… I think.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Voice isolation setting on the Mac?

Hey Grim!

Set to Standard. Tried to set it to Voice Isolation once… resulted in no input whatsoever. So now it’s back to Standard.
