Help. Dorico 4.3 "Audio engine process died"

For the last 6 months or so, every time I open Dorico 4 on my Macbook (now running Sequoia 15.1.1) it crashes with the label “Audio engine process died.” I found a previous answer which helped me produce this zip file and wonder if someone can help me read it to figure out what is going on.

Thanks.

Hi @111255 , welcome to the forum and sorry for the trouble you have.
There are no crash files contained in the diagnostic report, but the log files of the audio engine clearly tell that soon after launching the audio engine process gets stuck or deadlocked.
First thing to check is, open the Activity Monitor.app and in the list of processes have a look for VST Audio Engine, if there are one or several instances of it, kill them all off.
Also, go to /Macintosh HD/Libary/Application Support/Steinberg and temporarily rename the folder Components to e.g. _Components.
With that in place, does Dorico then start up?
If not, please post a fresh diagnostic report then. Thanks
