trying out Cubase 12 Pro for two months to see if I am able to use it as I am disabled I have a number of tracks in the project window but timing wise they are out how do I find the audio alignment panel as it seems not to exist anywhere
Any help with this would be much obliged. Thank you
Hi there and welcome to the forums!
Have you tried Audio > Open Audio Alignment Panel?
Hi,
There is also an icon in the toolbar. Moreover, you can use Key Command without the need to open the panel.
The open audio alignment panel is not there on the audio drop down to be able to use hence my problem
thank you Martin there is not an icon on my toolbar to use what would be the key command please
Hi,
Right-click the Project’s window toolbar. Enable the Audio Alignment option. The icon for the Audio Alignment appears.
By default, there is no Key Command assigned to open the Audio Alignment Panel, nor any of the fuction within the Audio Alignment Panel (sorry, I was wrong, I was thinking there are factory Key Commands), but you can assign one freely in the Key Commands window.
Thank you for trying Martin neither of the screenshots that you have as it to your reply exist in what I am looking at I just don’t understand this
in key commands I entered audio alignment panel in the search at the top of the page and Nothing came up
Hi,
Could you add a screenshot how does it look like on your side, please?
Hi,
Are you sure this is Cubase Pro?
You’ve got me worried now it’s what I downloaded for the two month free trial of Cubase 12 Pro is the paid version different?
No. It’s the same install.
Could you check what version you have under Help > About?
Hi,
Cubase Elements doesn’t have Audio Alignment. Double-check your license, if you have Cubase Pro or Cubase Elements license, please.
In the first post, you said, you have been trialing Cubase for 2 months already. This is not possible, the Trial license lasts for 1 month only. So to me, it sounds like you were trialing Cubase Pro before and now you are trialing Cubase Elements (because you couldn’t get the 2nd Cubase Pro Trial license).
Okay now I’m confused possibly me as I had a stroke a week ago. I downloaded the 60 day Cubase Pro free trial on the 13th of August this year. Attached is my elicencer it says no product then whatever I’ve been using since the 13th?
There is absolutely no intention of me trying to pull a fast one your help would be much appreciated, I am disabled in many ways and I would like to use Cubase to improve the quality of my writing thank you
Hi,
Which license can you see in the Steinberg Activation Manager, please?
I have downloaded install Assistant and I re downloading everything
