I accidentally used the fixed velocity command on a midi track, how can I restore the velocity of how it was played? thank you very much for your help!
Well if you haven’t done anything (or nothing important that you don’t want to loose) then you can use ctrl+z or “Edit/History…” to undo it. Closing a Project clears the edit history, so then you are stuck. You might also see if you have a .bak file from before the velocity change. If so rename and make copies of files before modifying, just in case. Good luck.
unfortunately it happened after many minutes of work, so canceling until the offending would mean losing a lot of work … is it possible to bring a midi back to at least the first registered version?
if it is not possible I request it for a future version … it would be extremely useful
