Hi, I’ve obviously pushed a key by mistake which is causing this behaviour - but when I cut & delete a section of a track in Cubase, the rest of the track is now automatically moving to fill the gap. I can’t think what the setting would be called so don’t know where to look for it. E.g. if I have 8 bars of music as a single item, I want to be able to delete 2 of the middle bars to create silence, but now, the rest of the bars move left to fill the gap. Help

Probably you have activated Shuffle in Grid Type in the toolbar.
