Hosts: Live & Reaper
I have removed ALL VST3s and verified it is an empty folder (unless there is a hidden file?) to see if that would help, but SpectraLayers still appears in both hosts.
This is not a host cached problem:
- I have rebuilt/rescanned the plugins in both hosts.
- For Reaper, I never opened it when SpectraLayers had been installed, only opened after deleting to confirm if it was a Live problem vs a system problem.
- I have restarted the computer after deleting, now multiple times.
- I’ve deleted all references to Steinberg and SpectralLayers.
- I have the app TrashMe and nothing else appears as related to either Steinberg or SpectralLayers.
Again, my VST3 folder shows as empty, but SpectraLayers still appears in both Reaper and Live.
Does anyone know of anything else to try?
This is like hearing a cricket hidden somewhere in your home.
