Help! VSL and Kontakt are mapped one octave lower in cubase!

Why is it that my libraries, especially VSL are all mapped one octave lower in cubase. For example an actual C6 would be C5…thats horrible. Any solution for this?

C5, C6, Cwhatever … there’s no universal standard for octave numbers/names. That’s why different software/hardware have different naming conventions. Even note names (A,B,C…) don’t follow the same ‘standard’ at different places around the world.

You just have to live with this mess until software manufacturers provide us ‘note name maps’.
