Hello!
I would really appreciate some help getting my e-drums going in Reaper.
I´m new about recording music on my computer. I thought it was time to try something else than Garage Band on my iPad so I bought a Steinberg UR22 MK2 and installed it on my PC.
I´ve downloaded Reaper and installed it, connected my e-drums to the UR22 via MIDI and trying to install a 3rd party drum sound that I´ve downloaded from www.powerdrumkit.com.
The installation instructions says following:
“Copy both files:
“MT-PowerDrumKit.dll”
AND (!)
“MT-PowerDrumKit-Content.PDK”
into the VST Plugins folder of your DAW.
Example:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\
(Check the preferences of your DAW for your actual VST Plugins folder).”
Question number one: Should there be a folder under my Steinberg installation that is called VSTPlugins? Because I don´t have one.
Question number two: What do I have to do to install VST´s so they appear in Reaper (or Cubase) if I don´t have VST folder created during the install of my UR22?.
I really hope for some answers from the music producing community
