Hi everyone, im switching to Cubase of Pro tools and im so happy with cubase and the comunity of users of steingberg!
i wanna get some help with the lanes on cubase,
settings:
record mode punch in out
audio record mode keep history
i have these lanes and when i wanna edit the size or position of the event on a lane, everything there are in the same time in another lanes is deleted
is this normal? or is a recent bug of cubase?
and the track versions is not a option for my workflow
i would love to replicate the same layer workflow of pro tools and this is the only thing that i can’t do anything

How exactly do you resize the Audio Event in the lane, please? Do you do it in the lane itself or do you do it in the main “track”?
Btw, you don’t need to resize it. Please, learn about the Comping in Cubase.

ok, maybe resize is not needed haha, but it happens me also when i move an event on the main track and dissapears all the lanes below

hey, thanks for the fast replies!!i just realized that the option “delete overlaps” was activated, but maybe in a future, would be amazing that you can be able to deactivate and keep active overlaps only for lanes!
