Help with the Drum Editor while Composing Beats

Hi, I’m just learning Cubase so I´ll try to express myself as clearly as I can. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to compose some drums with Groove Agent. I have the track ready with the sounds I want. In the “Editor” Page at the bottom of the software I selected “Drum Editor” so I can easly click with the drumstick cursor the box I want in the track and make a beat. The issue is that whenever I click it appears the diamond symbol on the box, it makes the sound when I click, but its not being reproduced when I play the track. And it gets weirder, because if I just drag the cursor trough the whole instrument/sound in the track it makes a line full of diamonds and some reproduce and some don’t. Not even on beat, I mean they are being reproduced in almost a random manner. It skips some randomnly and reproduce two or three sudden beats. Do you know what I can do? Feel free to ask questions in case I’m not being clear and I will answer so you can understand me better.
Thank you!

Well this is awkward… I figured it out! Should I delete this or write the answer if any newbie like me is having the problem?

This is what happened; the sounds that the drum editor loaded where not just the instruments, but the patterns too. So when I clicked “Kick B” I thought I was playing the Kick instrument, but no, it was a pattern, thats why it didnt play anything in the place I wanted. So check that you are playing the instrument not the pattern. And I also learned that if the instrument on the editor doesn´t have the same name as in the drumkit its hard to realize where the problem is, so click in the tab “map” on the Drum Editor window, and select ‘Create Drum Map from Instrument’. That way the names on the instrument will be the same that the ones on the Drumkit Hub and won´t have the same confussion as I had. Bye!

I say you leave it here for the benefit of others who may stumble upon the same issue.
