Help with triplet

I’m copying a score in to Dorico but have been unable to replicate this particular measure. My theory is nearly non-existent so I haven’t been able to figure it out.

Basically when I add a tuplet to the two 8th notes and rest it doesn’t look the original score

The original score has a tempo equation from quarter note to half note.

You need to enter a crotchet tuplet on beat one before adding the quavers on the third crotchet of the tuplet.
