[Help] Yamaha MG10XU Mixer USB not detected in Win10 64bit

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently purchased a Yamaha MG10XU mixer. Almost all the parts are working fine, except for the USB. I’m using windows 10 64 bit.

I tried it in my second laptop and 1 desktop pc with Win10 64 bit also. But USB not detected at all.

I change cables, 4x, still USB not working.

I tried the driver from 1.7 to 2.03, still the USB not detected.

I’m wondering if I do something that is nor right. or perhaps someone already solved this. I would appreciate if you can share it with me.

I need the USB functionality badly.

Download the correct driver for your Windows version from here:

Connect the USB cable directly to your computer and/or to a USB 2.0 port if possible.

Have done exactly that! Picked the driver from the exact source you’ve recommended. The strange thing is that I can’t even get the device to show (appear) in the device manager (Win10).

It doesn’t detect the usb connection at all, as though any hardware change is happening… I have used the usb cable that came along with the mixer (it has even mark indicating that it is a 2.0). I have acquired and extra cable to test but the result is the same.
