The High Cut Filter comes back totally different when you open a C7.5 project.
Surprised nobody else has noticed this so far.
Mixes are totally messed up when you come from C7.5. This is not subtle.
C.8.05 hasn’t fixed this.

I too am surprised what a non-issue this has turned out to be—especially with such a dramatic change!
Actually, I picked up on this a few weeks ago—it grew out of a topic about C8 sounding different. That’s when I took it apart and discovered it was the pass filters.
I’ve even got audio examples on Dropbox.
I’m hoping Steinberg will at least explain what’s going on.
I’ve sent Steinberg support a detailed report and session to test after talking with them on the phone, but they never bothered to get back to me.
Very disappointing…
