Hi, Dorico Team. How about release a playback template for the Orchestral Tools Phoenix?
Orchestral Tools Phoenix is for the Disney’s live-action Mulan movie. It is the up-coming most popular chinese instrument library. It is scripted in a modern way, which seems to be the most compatible Chinese instrument library on the market.
why don’t you release one? I’d be surprised if Dorico Team have a copy of what seems to be a rather specialist library, far less time to programme it but then I might be completely wrong…
yes, but the vast majority of Expression Maps have been created by users. The BBCSO is probably the best of the all-in-one newer complete orchestra libraries so it would be a natural one for John to choose – and in fact it’s the only one I use which I didn’t create completely from scratch.
It’s all a matter of priorities, I guess – with the ever-expanding list of things which folk are asking for in Dorico 4, creating playback templates/expression maps can only be done to a limited extent by the team. Which of course doesn’t mean you don’t have every right to ask for it if it’s particularly important to you
