Hi ,Hi Installing C pro 9.5 Vsti to different drive.

finally got my , C pro 9.5 , n of course having eLCC problems , so not yet Up , tried to in stall the old way , the VSti /s to a different drive for faster performance , i dont see the options like i had in earlier C 6 etc … is it not required any more , or am i doing some thing wrong ?? i see only 2 options , one dont let me install at all , the other one routes it all to C programmes …
any suggestions thanks ws

Maybe I will be corrected but, I believe when installing Cubase the Steinberg VSTs will get installed to a required default location. You can install 3rd party VSTs to wherever you want but, the .dll (or .vst3, or whatever it’s called on a Mac) needs to be installed to a location either already being scanned by Cubase or you need to add that location to Cubase so that it will scan it.
