I am trying to hide an unempty stave. Is this only possible within a flow? Or can it also be applied to an entire project?

Are you wanting to hide all empty staves, or are you wanting to hide a stave even if it has music in it? (I’m a little confused by your terminology)

If you’re trying to hide an unempty staff (a staff that has music in it), I think you need to use a manual staff visibility change, and those seem to only take effect through the end of a flow.

If you want to hide it for the entire project, would it work for you to remove the player from the layout?

Thank you for your advice. I have understood: the procedure only works within a flow. It cannot be used from bar 1 to the end of the project.

Nothing stops one from re-applying the staff styling in each flow.
